Kushki means money in Kichwa.
We were founded in 2016 with a clear mission: to democratize access to digital payments in Latin America. The name Kushki comes from the Kichwa language and means money — a word that connects our regional roots with the infrastructure we are building.
We evolved from a payment gateway to a regional non-bank acquirer with direct membership in Visa and Mastercard. Today we connect merchants, consumers and enterprises in five countries to a single standard of scale and trust.
